Appearing in "Western Horseman"  June of 2015. I shot this one at the Green Ridge Ranch in Julian, CA.  This shoot had it all... cows, horses, mud, cowboys, cowgirls, ropes, mud (did I mention that already?) Yes.. lots of mud, which lends itself well to laying on the ground to photograph horse boots.  It's been a good shoot when you lay bags on the seat of you car when leaving to keep the cow manure from smelling things up :)
